ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS MODERN RENAISSANCE EYE SHADOW PALETTE - REVIEW AND MAKEUP LOOK

I have to admit that this eye shadow palette is my most used palette in 2017.

It might sound cliche but all of the 14 highly-pigmented powder shades are truly versatile.

It is very easy to create a modern day-to-night look. The colours suit absolutely every skin tone and it's very easy to use.

I also love the name of this Anastasia Beverly Hills palette - 'Modern Renaissance', as it absolutely perfectly reflects the selection of shades.

There are 11 matte and 3 metallic eyeshadows, which in my mind is a perfect combination in order to create a modern eye look.

All the shades : top row, from left to right, ‘Tempera’ (ultra-matte, velveteen beige), ‘Golden Ochre’ (matte, earth-toned yellow), ‘Vermeer’ (iridescent shell pink), ‘Buon Fresco’ (matte antique lavender), ‘Love Letter’ (ultra-matte raspberry) and ‘Cyprus Umber’ (matte dark coffee) and bottom row, from left to right, ‘Raw Sienna’ (matte, neutral amber), ‘Burnt Orange’ (deep matte orange), ‘Primavera’ (shimmering gold dust), ‘Red Ochre’ (ultra-matte red stone), ‘Venetian Red’ (matte crimson), ‘Warm Taupe’ (earth-toned grey) and ‘Realgar’ (ultra-matte brick).

The colours blend easily and even metallic shades do not have any fallout.

It also comes with a very useful dual-ended brush that is absolutely great if you need to take the palette with you.

And I must mention the stunning pink velvet case that is pure joy to look at and have it on your vanity table.

I have achieved this look by using matte earthy tones from the Modern Renaissance palette: 'Raw Siena' all over the lid, 'Burnt Orange' in the crease, 'Realgar' in the outer corners of the eyes and lower eyelids, also 'Primavera' to highlight the inner corners of the eyes.

But it is only one of the many variations that can be created with this wonderful eyeshadow pallet that I can call my favorite for sure!
