SKIN CHEMISTS LONDON CAVIAR COLLECTION REVIEW
I love trying new skincare products. Beauty is my passion and knowing that every day new products are being launched just tickles my Beauty DNA curiosity. Therefore I am always excited to work with different skincare brands, try their products and share my experience with you.
Today I would like to introduce you to Skin Chemists London.
Few words about the brand…
Skin Chemists London is a scientific skincare company that has research centres in the UK and Florida. They create globally celebrated formulations that go beyond ordinary skincare to combat and control skin ageing at its source.
Skin Chemists work with leading research houses such as Princeton Clinical Research to prove the high efficacy of their products.
I was very lucky to receive three products from Skin Chemist Caviar Collection, so let's get into it without further ado.
Anti- Ageing Caviar Day Moisturiser
It aims to mattify, smooth and brighten your skin. Boy, this is packed with so many great ingredients! The second ingredient after water is glycerin, which is a natural humectant. Works just like my beloved Hyaluronic acid, by drawing water from the air into the skin's outer layer. It also forms a protective layer that helps prevent moisture loss.
This moisturiser also contains coconut oil, which I have to admit, am not a fan of, but the overall texture of this moisturiser is very light and gel-like (as you can see in my photo). Its presents haven't caused me breakouts, so I really don't mind it.
Other beautiful ingredients and their benefits:
- Aloe Vera -soothes and hydrates. ⠀
- Seabuckthorn oil - anti-inflammatory. ⠀
- Neroli oil - antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory. ⠀
- Shea butter - softens and nourishes.⠀
- Alpine Rose extract - brightens.
- Charcoal powder - purifies and mattifies. ⠀
- Seaweed extract - balances and hydrates. ⠀
- Lactic acid - hydrates and exfoliates. ⠀
- Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 is a synthetic fatty acid-linked peptide that can help repair visible skin damage and strengthen the skin’s underlying supportive elements⠀
- Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 is a type of synthetic peptide compound which combines several chains of amino acids to reduce skin inflammation and the accompanying skin damage. This peptide compound is also believed to stimulate the regeneration of collagen fibers in the dermis by acting as a sort of cellular messenger.
This moisturizer has everything, and maybe more, what you would expect from a great day cream.
Anti- Ageing Caviar Facial Serum
Anti-ageing Caviar Serum - aims to repair the skin, because it contains Caviar extract (Omega 3&6 that are originally found in caviar). It also contains Aloe Vera - which is well known for calming, soothing and hydrating properties.
Seaweed extract gives antioxidant protection and contains a large mix of vitamins and minerals also has water-binding properties. ⠀
Peptides - Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 - is a synthetic anti-wrinkle cosmetics ingredient. It is a peptide which is a fragment of SNAP-25, a substrate of botulinum toxin.
I am a total serum addict so this product is my absolute favorite. It is suitable for all skin types and if you have skin just like mine, that is prone to breakouts, you are going to love how soothing and hydrating this Caviar Serum is.
Anti- Ageing Caviar Eye Serum
Last but not least in Caviar Collection is Anti-ageing Caviar eye serum. And that’s what I like about it - it is a serum, not a cream. ⠀
The formula is rich in water and glycerin, with added soothing properties of Aloe Vera. Caviar extract is the key ingredient that makes this collection rich in vitamins and mineral for the skin. It applies very effortlessly and absorbs instantly. ⠀
I have to admit, I didn’t own an eye product (being in my 30s) so thank you, Skin Chemists!
Skin Chemist Caviar collection reveals a radiant and hydrated complexion from the first application. The products are packaged with powerful Caviar Extract that not only nourishes the skin but also addresses the first signs of ageing. What I found the most impressive, that these products suited my breakout prone, combination skin type. My skin felt hydrated, looked radiant and plump. I also found that my makeup looked more flawless. If I could wish for one more thing, it would be added SPF!
It is also worth mentioning that all Skin Chemists products are cruelty free and paraben free.
Let me know if you have tried these products and how did you find them.
Love, Lina x
